EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Art has made a commitment to work with any high school in Southern CA to share a couple of his poems and discuss alcohol addiction and recovery. His poetry strikes a raw look at addiction and a hopeful journey to recovery thru the two books listed on this site. HE CHARGES NO FEES FOR THIS EVENT* and does this community service for students over the age of 16 years.
Contact Art if your school has an interest in helping students better understand alcohol addiction from an alcoholic who contemplated suicide and is now sober for 10+ years. Your students will be impacted and inspired by what Art says and will love and respect his performance.
As a person giving back to society, his belief is if he can help one student in every high school he works with, he is changing a life worth living longer and healthier. And, if a student takes his story and shares at home or with friends or social media, their local community can be impacted by one mans’ words in a high school gym or auditorium.
